Since the beginning, Downtown Ministries has been committed to investing in the lives of students through meaningful relationships, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

Downtown Sports first began in 2003 as a way to connect with youth in our community through athletics, building character and relationships that extended beyond the game. As those relationships deepened, we recognized the need for a space where students could experience that same encouragement and investment every day. In response, Downtown Academy opened in 2013.

Today, Downtown Academy has grown into a fully accredited Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school, continuing the mission of supporting students academically, socially, and spiritually. In recent years, our sports program has become closely connected with Downtown Academy, allowing us to serve students in a more integrated and consistent way than when the programs first began.

Over the past two decades, hundreds of students and athletes have been part of the Downtown Ministries community. We would love to reconnect with you.
