Downtown Academy students receive an education that opens their eyes to the world! One window to the world is a relationship with a caring member of the community. Lunch Buddies are community volunteers who seek to build positive relationships with Downtown Academy students through regularly sharing a meal during the school day.

We love the energy and heart that college students bring to our programs! However, Lunch Buddies is designed for long-term mentors who can consistently invest in a student’s life throughout the school year and beyond.
