“We have been a part of the Falcon Family for 4 years and it has been a great experience from the games, to the family fun days, to giving out equipment in the heat! From the staff and coaches who are now family to my family, we wear our falcon gear proudly because of all the love and kindness we received from being a part of the Downtown Falcons community.”

“My daughters have flourished so much since being a part of the Downtown Academy family. They have grown closer to God, grades are better than they were in public school, I mean it’s just been a blessing. The teachers there are loving and genuinely care for their students.”

“I give my time serving at Our Daily Bread Community Kitchen for several reasons: The Bible tells us that to those who have been given much, much will be required. And I have been given much…serving a simple meal, in a nice surrounding, can make a difference in someone’s day, in someone’s life.”

“Our family has been involved with Downtown Ministries for over 10 rewarding years. A family friend asked me to help coach a basketball team for the Falcons. That was an easy yes, and our oldest children actually played on the team as well. We had a life changing experience and really began to understand what serving God really means. Not long after that, I joined the DtM board and continue to serve in that capacity. The ministry is a very important part of our family and we invest our time and resources as much as possible through giving, Georgia Goal, Lunch Buddies, and other events.”
